3D Plan Updates

3D Plan Updates

Major update to the 3D floor plan tool

We have spent the last month doing a major upgrade to the 3D floor plan tool.  Major benefits include:

  • NO Flash – this means it works on iPhones, iPads, other mobile devices
  • Design, drag & drop in 3D
  • Faster loading
  • Multi-level views
  • Better looking
  • Built for the future

Coming soon, we will be adding the 3D Designer button on the 3D FloorPlan option of your virtual tours.  This will allow prospective buyers to drag and drop furniture, change flooring (such as carpet or hardwoods), or even remove walls to see what that open concept might look like on your mid century modern ranch that needs a big makeover.  When they buy the home, they can then Claim It and get all this content copied over to their own private HomeDiary account, compliments of you.

The new 3D space planner will allow editing in 3D mode, including dragging and dropping furniture, changing flooring or wall colors and more.  I also has a roof tool so you can visualize different roofing patterns or even see the whole house in a stacked 3D view.  NO other online tool has this robust functionality tied to an actual house’s floor plan created on the listing side of the transaction.

Use all of this as a key differentiator at your next listing appointment, and walk away with the listing.

Farm House Cottage

Woodinville, WA

See The Story of This Home

We continue to see the power of drone photography in this recent tour of an enchanting farm house cottage in Bear Creek, just outside Seattle. The beauty of this 2.65 acre property is gorgeously captured with the use of aerial photography blended into a show stopping interactive video format.

Joel Highet, one of our professional photographers in Seattle, provided all the HDR images and aerial photography of this charming home.

  • Zoom On/Off. You can turn photo zoom off to see the whole image.
  • Works on iPad.  We use the same viewer on the iPad. It looks great!

Video Clips & Bookend Videos

We have some exciting news to share…the ability to add video clips in your Virtual WalkThru Video! But there is more…not only can you upload a clip of a fountain, a boat skimming across the water, or whatever you want to showcase on an individual tour, we also added the ability to upload Agent Bookend Videos to your profile, and then add these videos to every WalkThru Video, just by checking the box!  Posting to the MLS?  Don’t worry, you can just have your bookend videos show on the branded tour, or if you make the bookend video generic (without any of your contact info, name, etc…), you can include the bookends in both the branded and unbranded videos.

See our How To Video to learn more on how you can create a really custom video for your tours[pb_videoshowcase group=”8″]

This is also an example of how you can embed the whole virtual tour into your website!

While we believe a great photo with animation to simulate movement is a powerful tool, a video clip can evoke emotion up and above what a photo might provide.  So give it a try.  It’s FREE!
